Dawson Forest - Birding Hot Spot

Location: Dawson Forest WMA, Dawson County, Georgia, USA
Direction: Take GA 400 north to Dawson County. Turn left ( or go west) on Dawson Forest Road (just before the Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. Keep go straight and drive across Hwy 9 into the Atlanta Tract of Dawson Forest. The wetland area is located just inside the gate. A paved road continues for 6 miles and ends at the Etowah River.
