Bird Banding - American Kestrel and a sparrow caught in net

A female American Kestrel was caught in net during a bird banding field trip at Panola Mountain State Park banding site (Rockdale County, Georgia, U.S.A.) in November. Apprently she was chasing her breakfast , a Song Sparrow and she missed her prey that morning.  Lucky sparrow, sorry to the kestrel. According to Master Bird Bander Charlie Muise it was a great caught at this banding site.
