E.L. Huie Water Facility and Newman Wetlands Center - Birding Hot Spot

Location: E. L. Huie Water Facility and Newman Wetlands Center Clayton County, Georgia, USA
Direction: Travel South on I-75, take exit #235. Turn Right or go West on Tara Blvd for about 6.3 miles. Turn left onto Freeman Road. ravel 1.3 miles to the Wetlands Center on the right. Proceed past the bend and Shamrock Rd (which goes to Lakes Shamrock and Blalock), and continue to Dixon Industrial Rd, turn right and you should see the gate about 1/4 mile on the left. Enter the E L Huie pond complex. There are six ponds in this complex. Make sure you check all six ponds.
