The greenest hummingbird! Coppery-headed Hummingbird

My recent trip to Costa Rica totaled 97 species of birds with 5 more species are still under investigation. Hummingbird is one of my favorite birds, the main goal was to observe as many hummingbirds as I possibly could. There are 51 species of hummers can be seen in Costa Rica and I observed 18 and photographed 14. I photographed this hummer during a pour rain and when I played back, I noticed how green and how glittering this hummer was. Many photographers use multiple flash heads to photograph hummer in flight. I am still debating if I want to use flash because I prefer to photograph bird under natural light. But to photograph their super fast wing beat, flash becomes unavoidable. I need to practice multiple flash technique to prepare for my next trip :)
